My friend Allan tipped me in the general direction of this fantastic website! It is essentially a website that borrows University level lectures in audio, video, and note format, and puts them out there, for us to listen, watch and read.

Avante

For those that don’t know, I own this kit car. It’s an Avante, a classic 70s number built on a VW beetle chassis, and with a beetle engine. The story of how I acquired this beauty might move you to tears (hehe), but briefly and factually it goes something like this: I have never been into cars in the way a lot of blokes (and girls) are.

Total Abdominal Colectomy

Witnessed my fourth abdo surgery today, a total colectomy. Found this video, and while this TAC is done laparoscopically (key hole or minimally invasive surgery) a lot of the techniques and tools implemented (such as a harmonic diathermy scalpell) are the same or similar.
